Collective Haul | Pt 1: Accessories & Beauty Bits

Hello everyone! Oh God, it's my face on the internet. Long story short, I couldn't be bothered to take everything out of the bags and arrange it all in an arty farty way to take pictures of, so I just took a photo of myself pulling a hamster face and holding the bags instead. Attractive.

Today I went on a huge shopping trip, bought myself loads of goodies and thought I would share them with you all. I've decided to do this in two instalments because it would be too long of a post otherwise! The first part is made up of all the accessories and beauty things I picked up, and in the second part which I'll post soon, I'll show you all the clothes that I bought.

So first of all I went into the Body Shop to pick up a new moisturizer and renew my loyalty card. Turns out that they had a 3 for 2 offer going on, I got 20% off of everything because of the loyalty card, AND I got a free gift for renewing. Snazzy.

So, all in all I walked out of the Body Shop with:
My staple Vitamin E moisturizer that I had previously ran out of, which cost me £8.33 with the loyalty discount.
An intensive moisturizer and an eye cream for my mum which made up the 3 for 2 offer.
My free gift which is the Japanese Cherry Blossom shower gel, worth £6.50. I had a choice of a few 'flavours' of shower gel but I chose this one because it smells really yummy and fresh, yet relaxing at the same time.

There are some brilliant deals going on in the Body Shop at the moment, my receipt tells me that I should have spent £43.50 in there, but because of the 3 for 2 AND the loyalty card discount, I saved £23.70, which I think is amazing! So if you have a Body Shop nearby, grab yourself a loyalty card and go find those bargains while it lasts!

Oh look, more Sleek! I'm so weak.
I've been lusting after the Sleek contour kit for a while now, so I popped into Superdrug only to find that they didn't have it on their stall. Instead they had this contour and blush kit, which is pretty much the same as the original contour kit that I wanted, but with an added blush. I also wanted the Rose Gold blush, and thought the blush in this pallette looked verrry similar, but also looked quite similar to Chantilly (a colour in the Lace pallette). The name of the blush wasn't included on the back of the packaging, so after closely comparing it to both Rose Gold and Chantilly, I came to the conclusion that it was Rose Gold, and if it's not, it's identical to it! This cost me £9.99, meaning it ended up being a lot cheaper than if I were to buy the contour kit and blush seperately.

Oh, and if you're wondering why I'm not holding a Superdrug bag in the title photo, they didn't actually give me one. :(

Next I popped into New Look and picked up what I thought was a pack of 4 necklaces, but when I got home found out that it was one whole necklace, that I actually wasn't too keen on. I panicked, considering I'd just spent £12.99 mainly for the gold and rose gold necklaces, and instead ended up with a piece of jewellery I didn't really like. Then I had a lightbulb moment, and decided to seperate some links to make the one necklace into four different chains, that I can swap and change depending on what I'm wearing. Smart, huh?

Also from New Look I found this really cute little floral hair scarf that cost me £3.99. I've been after one of these for ages and fell in love with the print and colours of this, so picked it up! I'm really looking forward to experimenting with different looks with this.

Finally, I went into H&M on the hunt for socks. Yes, that's right, socks. The weather is deteriorating, summer is coming to an end, and autumn is edging ever closer, so I wanted some socks that I could wear with ankle boots for when the colder weather arrives. I picked up a pack of 5 'knitted' style socks for £5.99, and a pack of two thicker knitted socks for £6.99. I know these don't look like much, but the colours match some of the clothes that I bought really well, so it'll all make sense after the second part to this haul!

So that's everything for the accessories and beauty things I bought, I'm going to post a seperate review of the Sleek pallette once I've tried it out so keep your eyes peeled for that! Do you have the new contour kit, or any other products I've mentioned? What's your opinion? Let me know!

I'm also considering doing the second part of this haul as a video, as it's much easier to show you clothes that way, but I want to know what you guys would prefer! Leave a comment below, let me know if you'd like to see a video or not and I will be back with the other half of this post very soon!
