What's In My... | September Glossybox

Hello everyone! Today I thought I'd make a start on a sort of 'series' of posts if you like, and I'm calling it the 'What's In My...' series. I've decided I'm going to do one post every Friday, and the posts will consist of things that are in my various bags or glossyboxes or my fridge or whatever...

Okay, maybe NOT my fridge.

So, to kick everything off I'm going to start with what's in my September Glossybox!

My birthday month's Glossybox theme was 'The London Edition' in spirit of all things LFW and great British style. Instead of a fold out piece of paper with the Editor's Letter and info about the products on it, I received a small magazine with the ed letter and interviews etc. inside, and a little double sided card with all the product info on either side. I really enjoy this format, it's much more pleasurable to read through and I like it a lot! What are your opinions?

Onto the important bit, the first product! I received a 5ml sample of the new Elizabeth Arden perfume 'Untold'. Now I don't really know if this is my sort of scent, as I normally go for sweeter, fruitier scents and this is more floral and warm. However, the more I smell it, the more I like it. Hmm, we'll see.

Next on the menu is this full size Be a Bombshell felt tip liner in Onyx. I'm really used to using a gel liner with a brush for a cat eye look, so using this felt so weird, like I was literally drawing on my face with a marker pen. It'll take a bit of getting used to for me, but once I've mastered it I can see this being a lot easier to take out and about rather than lugging a pot of gel liner and a brush around!

Excuse the dodgy lighting, I've yet to buy a decent photography light thing. Booo natural light.
The next most prominent things in the box were the Eyelure Pre-Glued Lashes, which were full size, obviously. I can't really see Glossybox handing out half sets of eyelashes! False lashes were my staple makeup item a few years ago, but now, not so much. The fact that they're already pre-glued makes me question their staying power a little bit, but I think they'd still be great for a dressy night out, obviously I'm still going to carry some lash glue to cover my own back!

I was so happy to see this sitting pretty in my box, it's a full size Toni & Guy Classic Shine & Gloss Serum. I'm a big, big fan of Toni & Guy products, particularly the styling ones, and I was actually in need of a new serum! This one is the limited edition 30ml bottle, designed by LuLu and it smells divine, as do all T&G things. This made me very super happy!

Finally, this Rimmel Stay Blushed Liquid Cheek Tint in '004 Sunkissed Cherry', which is a lovely pinky-coraly colour, and is also full size. Since developing a coveted, loving relationship with the Sleek powder blushers, I wouldn't normally pick up a liquid cheek tint. The nice thing about this though, is that if I were to have gone out and bought any colour cheek tint, I probably would have grabbed this one. Bravo, Glossybox! It has claims not to clog pores, blend seamlessly and last 24 hours, which coming into the colder A/W months, I can see being very successful if it lives up to it's expectations!

So that's it! I'll admit I wasn't blown away with absolutely everything, but hopefully those certain products will prove me wrong when I try them out!
Top Product? I especially like the Rimmel Cheek Tint, it's a really nice autumny colour, it suits my skin tone very well and I'm guessing it's part of the whole 'Stay Matte/Stay Blushed' range, which I'm expecting great things from seeing as everyone and their grandma has tried the Stay Matte powders.

What's your opinion on the products I received? Have you tried any yourself, or did you get anything different in your box?
And most importantly, what would you like to take a look inside next week? My wardrobe? My makeup bag? My A/W handbag? Leave a comment, let me know!
