Wednesday | FOTD

Please excuse the terrible quality 'ipod selfie', I was in a complete rush this morning but was determined to share my makeup look with you all, and then to top it all off my camera battery decided it didn't want to play ball. Typical.

I'm still not sure how I feel about tackling these 'face of the day' posts yet, my self confidence is extremely low which means I get slightly insecure when it comes to plastering my face all over the interwebs but hey ho! This morning I went for a neutral, shimmery eye look with a subtle smokiness with a nude lip and was quite proud of how it turned out! I'm awful at describing things so I'm going to go straight ahead and list everything I used to create the look.

Base:
The Body Shop Vitamin E Moisturiser
Benefit The Porefessional Primer
Benefit Boi-ing Concealer in Shade 01
Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer in True Ivory
Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation in 200 Soft Beige
Rimmel Stay Matte Powder in Peach Glow

Blush, Contour & Highlight:
Soap & Glory Solar Powder Bronzer
Avon Celestial Blush (super super old!)
Sleek Contour Palette Highlight
UD Naked Palette - Virgin

Eyes:
Soap and Glory Archery Brow Pen in Brownie Points
MUA Clear Brow Gel
Urban Decay Primer Potion
Urban Decay Naked Palette - Virgin, Sidecar, Half Baked & Darkhorse
Eyeko Skinny Liner
MAC Zoom Waterfast Lash

Lips:
LUSH Popcorn Lip Scrub
Dr Lipp Nipple Balm For Lips (I know, it sounds strange but it's a lifesaver trust me!)
Rimmel Kate Moss Lipstick in 113

Brushes:
Real Techniques Expert Face Brush
RT Blush Brush
RT Buffing Brush
RT Detailer Brush
RT Deluxe Crease Brush
MAC 168
MAC 217
MAC 239
MAC 193
Urban Decay Naked Palette Brush

It'd be so easy to take this look from day to night with a quick change of lipstick, replacing Kate Moss 113 with something along the lines of 107, then whack some lashes on and you're good to go. And by 'whack', I mean fiddle and fumble and get glue everywhere trying not to mess up your eyeshadow masterpiece. That's what I usually end up doing at least.
