Positivity (Personal)

If you were told you had only 2 hours left on this Earth, would you be happy? Would you look back and think 'it's okay, I'm happy with my decisions', or would you spend those final hours rushing around doing things you wish you'd have done, saying things you wish you'd have said?

Keeping positive is a difficult thing, but there will come a time when the realisation will hit you like a brick wall. Life is far too short to spend regretting, wondering 'what if I'd have just done this/that'. We don't know what will happen tomorrow, god, we don't know what will happen in the next few minutes, so the only thing to do is embrace life as it comes.

Like someone? Tell them. Want to make things right with someone? Do it. Prove it. Want that cheesecake in the fridge? God damn eat it. Don't hold back and wonder 'what if?'. Because wouldn't you rather look back and know that you'd tried, that you'd given life your absolute everything, rather than looking back and thinking 'I wish I'd have sent that text/made that apology/eaten that bloody cheesecake'.

I don't know what this post is set out to do, but hey it's my blog for my thoughts and if I can spill it out through my fingers and onto the inter-webs then it'll clear my head I guess, as well as maybe helping some of you, I don't know.

Waiting is the worst thing you can do. So this is your wake up call. Don't wait any longer, don't sit around wondering what life might be like if you 'just had the courage' to do certain things. Get up, get out, and do them. Don't regret.

Live your life to the fullest, laugh hard, and love even harder - as hard as humanely possible. Please, don't wait, don't regret. Even if it seems like your world is falling apart, sometimes you just have to trust in the universe and keep your faith - know that you are right where you need to be for a reason, even if that reason seems ridiculous right now.

Finally, at the same time, never ever give up. Fight for what you believe in, for what is right, and for what you love with your whole heart. And even if things don't go to plan, life is too short. In those two hours at least you can say, 'I did', with a smile on your face rather than 'what if'. Don't think that it's too late - it's never ever too late to make things right.
