Empties #1

Whilst searching for a bit of blog-spiration it suddenly occurred to me that I've never actually written an empties post. January also left me with a lot of empty products, that (not-so conveniently) ran out simultaneously. Needless to say I put two and two together and this post was born! Here's all my empty stuff! Yaaaas!

MAC Zoom Waterfast Lash: The first MAC mascara to enter my collection and definitely not the last! I think this is the very first mascara that I've actually liked enough to finish, and that's saying something. The brush in this works so well with my lashes that I'm keeping it to use with other mascaras (only until I can muster up the savings to wander into MAC and repurchase another haha).
Zoella 'Let's Glow' Candle: Damn I love the scent of this candle SO MUCH. I don't know if it was just me burning it far too often, but I did find that once it started, it burned down super quickly. Although the refreshing scent wins me over every time so no doubt I'll be repurchasing at some point.
LUSH 'Hello Gorgeous' Gift Box: Or at least I think it was called 'Hello Gorgeous'. It's that snazzy looking little floral box in the background. Apart from the little bottle of Vanilla Dee-Lite lotion that I'm still working my way through, everything else is gone - and come on, when I'm faced with my full size favourite 'The Comforter' bubble bar, what do you expect?!

Benefit It's Potent! Eye Cream: A teeny tiny sample size that I received in a Birchbox that lasted a surprisingly long time. At 19 I've only just started getting into eye creams so I don't have much to compare this with, and although it did a good job at taming my dark circles, I still found the skin around my eyes getting dry particularly when the snow started falling. It's a nice little start, but I think I need something more nourishing so I probably won't repurchase.
Benefit The Porefessional: Another teeny tiny Birchbox sample that I enjoyed a lot more than the former. Again, this seemed to last FOREVER and even though it is silicone based and silky, I still really liked the way it worked for me under foundation.

LUSH Tea Tree Water: LUSH have done it again, and this stuff has become my HG toner. Tea Tree has always been able to work wonders on my skin anyway, and I can definitely notice a difference when I don't use this. There is a definite repurchase on the horizon.
LUSH Mask of Magnaminty: This was the first 'proper' face mask to enter my collection and it's definitely opened me up to the world of LUSH's Fresh Face Masks. Whenever I was having a bit of a skin crisis, I'd slap some of this on and my skin would be glowing afterwards, with no redness or irritation in sight. If you're interested, you can read my full review on this here.
LUSH Angels On Bare Skin: If you've been reading my blog for any amount of time you'll have probably heard me ranting and raving about this at some point. My HG cleanser; it can get a little messy but clears up my skin wonderfully and leaves it squeaky clean. Definitely worth the money.

It takes a lot for me to actually use up a whole product from start to finish, and typically ALL of my LUSH skincare decides to run out at once. A skincare haul is imminent. See anything you've tried before and loved, or would like to try in the future? Let a girl know!

  1. I've heard so much about the Lush skincare products... Especially the tea tree toner!

    1. I feel like a lot of people just think Lush purely sell bath bombs and nothing else but oh my god, their skincare is to die for!! xxx

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a comment - I always read and respond to every single one! ♡
